weather was downright miserable here today, rainy with a temp around freezing all day. Higher elevations got ice, but no ice here, was just warm enough.
Yeah ... but it ain't in the teens ... yet ... (get ready for tomorrow night )Another cloudy rainy day.

Got the recoil spring and the bar and chain oil picked up, other stuff ordered. Also grabbed a scrench ...
Then I hit HFT for diamond splitting wedge, drill-operated drain snake, and some 4 1/2" zip discs ...
After that Ace Hardware for a small tube of stove gasket cement (third time should be a charm) and some AAA batteries.
Got home and got a fire started in the stove @ the shop, cut some of them oak logs into stove lengths, and split some of the maple.
Then came down to the house and brought in a load of oak wood on the two-wheel cart, split that, and then removed the womanly debris that was clogging the shower in the master bedroom ... after some sausage dumplings and sauerkraut.
Now I'm gonna order some odds and ends for the splitter build from Surplus Center, grab a shower, and then head up to the shop.
On tonight's menu are replacing the recoil spring in the chain saw, finishing up the backstop for the pallet forks, cutting a wedge for the splitter out of a piece of 1" x 10" x 12" plate, and maybe a little work on the masts for the grapple.
lol ...Yep, Monday's supposed to be a humdinger. Better get your gas valve.....You could of made one by now.
lol ...
Went over to Pineridge's for New Years Eve ... found out he scored a Grizzly lathe/mini-mill ...
He's been holdin' out on me ...
... a "friend" in need ...
Well boys, I reckon I was born on a nasty, wet, rainy day like today, me birthday. Oh, by the way, this is a news fact: Gubmint is going belly up end of this month, not nary a dime left to pay anything. I know this because I'm due to start getting me first gubmint check next month.
