25 this morning and headed to 33 today. Guess who gets to hang another closet organizer. Hung one in master br closet. She liked it so much she bought another. Said I want half added in the master closet and other half added in utility room. Ok dear I'll see when I can get to it.

Good morning boys. A bit unusual for me to be here this early. Fibromyalgia mess gives me a sloooow start in mornings. Sipping me joe, 38° here in northeast Mississippi, going to 41°, ain't seen nary sun in many a day. We do have a rainy season here in south - November through January. Cloudy, rain, more clouds. Hang in boys, we're gonna make it.

Good morning! 40˚ cloudy again, high mid 40s. We are about 15˚ below our normal temps for January and we have only had about three days of sun. I don't see how you guys up North handle it, it's depressing.

WBS lives, 70˚ inside. Almost too comfy, I need incentive to freeze outside but can't find a priority project that can't be delayed.

This weekend we will be back to normal with the highs in the 60s and some sun!

Good morning all. 10F this morning going to the freezing mark, cloudy light winds. Tomorrow starts a series of 40+F days . Wife was going to put tires on red truck, it wouldn't start . Have battery out will have it checked. Have to follow up with O'Reilly's on my parts they have not called me yet . Finish nail extraction rearrange garage to get a vehicle in for work also on agenda today.

Good Afternoon. 1210, overcast, 51F with 95% humidity. Forecast high of 59F with 0% chance of rain this afternoon, and a low of 45F tonight. It's a little cool and very gray here today. No sun showing though the clouds.

Margie is taking the afternoon off, so we are going to town later. There were a few things that got left off the grocery list yesterday, so we will make that right, then get us some supper. I had grilled turkey burgers on my mind, but those will wait until tomorrow.

When my father pasted away in 1997, I inherited a 1945 John Deere H. I restored it and took it to shows for years. As time passed and the kids grew I had less time to keep the old girl going so I sold it to someone who would put it to good use. At the same time I inherited the H my brother inherited a 1947 John Deere B. He has not done anything with it and now that my mother has passed and my sister is selling the house, she told my brother he has to get rid of the tractor. He told her he didn't want it and to scrap it. I said I would take it and so now I have the B in my hands.

Looks like my Dad's B without the loader. Are you planing on restoring it?

Haven't decided if I should restore, sell or donate to the local antique club. Really do not have any place to store it now that I live in town. Will keep it a friend's farm for now but don't want to take up place at his place for too long.

Good call - shagbark hickory it appears to be ... :thumbsup:

Interesting stuff ... the sap has an orange tint ... and the wood itself seems to have the density and weight of concrete when green (or orange ) Smokes like mad when burned unseasoned.
