Poured second cup of coffee 50* with clear skies this morning. Heading to 76* with sun all day. Still working on waxing all 35' of the motorhome. Got a picture of sun up. Superstition Mountains in the view.

32 this morning and headed to 55 again today. Yep this is our January thaw. I didn't plan for it very well and had to put out hay in the mud yesterday. Oh well that's done for close to a week. Maybe it'll dry up or freeze up before then.

31F @ 09:30 ... with a high of 36F predicted ... looks like there could be some white stuff in the forecast.

A friend of the wife's, who is also our next door neighbor, is having a tree taken down today ... supposedly an oak ... good possibility that we'll get the wood from it.

Made some good progress on the splitter yesterday ... hope today goes equally as well. Need to rough in the bevel on the plate for the splitting wedge with the o/a torch and work on getting the pipe flange for the suction strainer, the stub axles, and the riser filler/breather welded on. The beam is starting to get pretty heavy ... to the point that it's a bit of hazard when moving or flipping it around by myself.

The 'Cake picked me up another 4 gallons of vinegar yesterday to de-rust the hydraulic reservoir. No indication that she intends to beat me with her (early) Valentine's Day present. She'll probably wait for heating season to be over before she attempts that.

Good morning all.28F going to 52F, clear this morning clouding up this afternoon, light winds. Temps will becoming more seasonal the end of this week. Rumor has it, it will be cold first two weeks of February

. Likely have one more small job prior to move. Finish light/wiper replace on green truck, un-warp fridge door and whatever the red truck may need.

Good Morning. 1025, partly cloudy, 64F with 70% humidity. Forecast high of 69F with 20% chance of rain this afternoon, and a low of 51F tonight. Looks like rain is a lock for Friday and there is a pretty good chance on Saturday, but nothing lower than 36F in the ten day forecast.

I've got my cardio done and breakfast eaten. I've got three and a half hours to kill before work, so I might take the bike out and try to avoid the hills. If I go toward the boatramp there is about a mile of level road before the first hill. And it is downhill for another half mile on to the river, but coming back wouldn't be. Though not too steep, we do have some hills here. My short ride yesterday showed I had to stand up on the pedal to make it up a couple of them right here by the house.

Wow, ronj, I was thinking Michigan was having a heat wave until I remembered ye winter in TEXAS. Looks like a heap o' other folks have that idea too, from looks of ye campsite.

Well, here in Columbus, MS, we finally have some sun again. Rainy season is over now!! Whew, that was depressing, it gets me every year and Ethyl and I threaten to move to Hawaii, even check out places on realtor.com, etc. We canno' tolerate cold.

Going to about 65° again today. So glad. Y'all boys hang in, we're gonna make it.
