Guinea coop is done except for the door. I am going to build the door, just have to decide if I want to go hinged or roller. Going to do the old fashioned "x" type barn door using rough sawn 1x material over plywood.

It's hot out there. Our thermometer is showing 105. It feels like it.

73 at 4 am, going to 92 at 4pm with a feel like of 102. Wow, things are cooling off.

Have to go to Chiefland today to post a permit and get that job started and to the kubota dealer to get a lift arm pin. Lost one moving trees this weekend. Then to Trenton to tag the new horse trailer and pick up that root rake.

Rs. I had neighbors at the old place like that. They wanted to party till 2-3am. Music would rattle the windows in the trailer. I didn't call the cops. I just started shooting the next morning. The later they partied the earlier I'd start shooting. Nothing like a 200 round volley of skeet before 7am. But I'm in an area where gun fire is the norm and no one pays attention to it. It's also not illegal. Only took a couple of weeks for them to get the message. Then the parties toned down and started shutting down by midnight. I stopped my early morning skeet shoots also.

Skeet before breakfast ! Naughty but nice, what a great way to get your point over. :laughing:

I can't wait to hear what the next project from RS will be, maybe with a little early morning hammer-on-metal work ?

Good morning. The sun shone for a couple of hours yesterday while I tidied up the field that the sheep ended up grazing, instead of keeping for hay.





Only just realised it is Monday today - I'm sure the weekends must be getting shorter.

66 going up to 89 today in sunshine.
I had my week all planned around having house guests this weekend from PA, but they just called and cancelled. They own a coffee company and a driver just quit right after they landed 22 new supermarkets. So the owner/my friend is likely going to be delivering coffee instead of visiting me. The joys of owning your own business, been there done that, the boss is the last one to go home.

There's another boat I could look at this week now, down in Charleston. A five hour drive, not much shorter than driving to the Chesapeake to find the other example of the same boat. The boat in the Chesapeake has 400 hours on it and is neglected. The boat in Charleston has 1700 hours on the engines and it has been well taken care of. ??? Going to have a long chat with the Charleston broker about his well loved one owner boat before I drive down there, have to get a room, though in Charleston that would be fun, and for sure not cheap. The town that Rustoleum preserves...all that wrought iron. Beautiful town, a history lover's dream.
