Congrats on your anniversary, Mostly!
Don, I always ask a new dentist if they have a pool in their back yard. If they say no, I think twice about going with them, because they'll be using my mouth to pay for one. I'm only half joking. For a few years I had a dentist that always found a cavity during the checkup. Then one year he said he found one between my last two molars, and would have to drill both of them to get to it. That was the last straw. The next dentist saw nothing in the x-ray, and here we are 20 years later and that tooth is still just fine. Anyway, glad you're feeling better!
I agree, sixdogs. I miss Dave1949's insights and wry humor...
Kev, sounds like you're tryin' to keep up with RS! Now it's you making the rest of us look bad!
Kyle, I tried the buddy thing. One beer led to another and now his wife won't let him come back. :drink::laughing:
Got the winch mounted and gave it a try yesterday. Worked well, but I found it very difficult to maneuver the back wheel between the jaws of the wheel vise. Ended up marking a lane out with masking tape to use as a guide, and got it first time. Sure a lot easier than waiting around for a buddy that ends up drinkin' all your beer!
Today I'll take it back apart, smooth up the welds a bit, and give it a nice coat of paint. While I'm at it I'll fill in the space between the masking tape to make the guide lines permanent. I also need to make up some sort of clamp for the remote control on the winch so I can keep both hands on the handlebars and just punch the buttons with my thumb. Nothing worse than having to bend over to pick up the darn thing when you're trying to hold up 500 lbs of motorcycle.
TGIF gang!
