Good morning! I can hardly believe we tied with Roy this morning at 60˚...

Yep...looks like we're going to have an extended Summer in to Fall since we're see more 80's temperatures this week. I do wonder how that powerful El Nino will affect the northeast this winter.

What a difference that front made. 64* this a.m. Made the morning chores seem like the weren't even work! I might even put on long pants when I head out to the grocery store. The bike ride today should be fantastic.

Have a happy day, all!

47 this morning and headed to 71 today. Currently 63. Very nice weekend. Warming into the upper 80's be weeks end and then another chance of rain.

Thanks guys. Arm is sore this morning but doesn't hurt to move or anything. I was wearing gloves when I did this. They just weren't long enough. I cut the middle of my forearm. I was having to stand in two different places to screw down each panel. First place I had to be in order to align the panel and put in 1 row of screws. Then take a step up and add a second layer of screws. I was taking that step up when I did it. Doctor put me on antibiotics and said my tetanus shot was up to date. Said no bigger than the cut was she wouldn't even sew it up if it wasn't so deep. But if she didn't sew it up then it would take forever to heal.

Go move a tractor for a buddy today. He spent all day yesterday helping me. His ton truck is down and needs my 3/4 ton to move the tractor.
Then back and make sure I wrap up my arm and need to get the chicken coops going again. Finish washing them. All from the tractor seat then windrow them to get ready for next flock.

Kev. Thanks for the offer.

Eric. There are some that use a similar product for siding but here it's metal or asphalt shingles. Occasionally you find a slate or wood shingled roof but not very often.

72°F and 2.5 inches rain last 24 hours, still coming down.
Exciting day yesterday cleaning up the ceramic tile for the cottage bathrooms. Some are leftover from the house build, others remaining from stock we brought over from mainland when we moved so mostly more than 10 years old and stored outside for most part. Pressure washer to the rescue :)

Be safe
Have a great day

Good afternoon all. 65F this morning, some clouds kept the morning low up. Variable cloudiness today with a forecast high of 88F wind switch to south 15 mph. Warming trend this week back to mid 90's before chance of rain and lower humidity and 5F reduction in temps. Got the 10-speed back on the road, picked it up and the visit to STL. He had a wreck on it bent rear wheel and picked up flat on front tire and other minor damage. Had a spare wheel, patched front tube and readjusted it for me, now have back-up for Trek. Going to Muenster for some German party this afternoon :)

My former boss' family runs one of the biggest concession stands there, serving lots of sausage and sauerkraut. They cook and sell a huge amount.

Feeling a bit uncomfortable. We went to Red Lobster with a neighbor and his wife to celebrate their 15th anniversary. Thing is, both lost their spouse's, her after 30 years, him after 43. So 15 for this combo is quite a feat! He is 86, hoping to hit 100. He might just do it. He works around his little farm like a dog. I just ate too much....
