Drew, compressed earth blocks would be the best building material for that area. It wouldn't be a bad choice for the rest of us either. We all have dirt, right?

Kev, it's not exactly the same thing. They compress dirt {mixed with a small amount of Portland cement} to several thousand psi. You can hit is with a pressure washer and it doesn't lose anything. They do plaster over it with a lime plaster, but water will not erode them like adobe. And of course, you can't burn it.

Hello all,
I have returned, not that I was missed, but the ebb and flows of the Good Morning thread demand my attention. A good sanity check it is. Homefront duties beckoned me back, that and a particular troubling incident in a hot spot ended that contract, no qualms on my part.
So I come home to find another job, check, done small company, independent sucks, wife needs work, medical issue, kids are all in school (BACK) massive amounts of money going to the FED. Hey, life..... welcome to the rat race.
My fields are cut, crap all over the place, A semi is parked out there now, hay bales await pickup.
My culvert is trashed, hey dude, run the tractors around, not over it, duh!
The weather is cool, hey, where I was I gots my fill of the heat!
A cousin stopped by, yeah, f*d up family I have, nice visit, 40 years of ketchup, throat got a little hoarse relating to mom. Ronjall, I see your loss, tough man.
I needs to get my crap back together these next few weeks. Need the rhythm and flow of a day. Need to take care of the SO.

The Dentist lost the end of one of his drill bits, and now I'm the new owner, it's deep down in a tooth root. I need to ask him if it will affect any future MRIs. I can just picture myself in an enclosed MRI looking at a bloody tooth on the ceiling of the tube saying "Hey I bet this is the first magnetic tooth pull, ow".
