Good Morning and Merry Christmas Eve. All the presents are wrapped and ready to be put under the tree tonight. Our three year old son has been checking under the tree every morning for the last 2 weeks. Santa is coming tonight son, hang in there!

49F overcast high mid to upper 60's.
Rain hard early this morn enough so stream clog w/leaves in places,stone fork an hour or so stream clean from leaves.

Traffic in our area not to bad compare years back,strange to state truck w/wing plow on end December 50F workers adjusting road markers in shirts....looks like new high record for NH today.

39 going to a high of 47 today on the coast. No white Christmas here just wet and lots of flooding due to the amount of rain and King Tides the last few days!!

It has been a busy week, but off today with no major plans other than to keep working on my car. Since it has been sooooo long since I took it apart, it has been a 2 steps forward, 1 step back kind of ordeal. I have the engine in place, I'm having trouble determining which special bolts with an extra threaded stud for ground wires go where on the tranny to engine interface. I find myself stopping to try and find some pictures I took for help often. I just pray that not too many systems give problems after being down for a year....


Hope those teeth problems get better or hold off until the dentist gets back. My dentist is off all next week.

I'd like to extend a warm Merry Christmas to all of you. (and if it is not warm where you are, try to stay warm) I get to help our pastor tonight with communion. I hope the church is packed. It only can hold about 250-300 comfortably. We will be singing a host of Christmas hymns. The 3rd verse of Silent Night pretty much sums it up for me.

Since I don't have much planned today, My wifey put a splash of Kahlua in my coffee. Yum, yum.

47 this morning and headed to 64 today. Currently 60. 1.3 inches of rain last night as storms rolled through. Several in the area lost power, we were lucky it only blinked. NWS is saying they had a Tornado touchdown about 45 miles from me in Rockport, IN. No major damage.

TMA for today is birds and see if brush pile fire survived the storm. Then wrap wife's gifts. Pretty sure one will be a return. I ordered her boots offline and they sure aren't what I thought I was ordering.

61 this morning high of 71 later very windy and gaining right now. Temperature wise it doesn't seem like rain but it is.

The amounts of fain we have been having is unreal ground is really wet now. Seems the weather guessers think the weather is getting ready to change from spring to winter and in a hurry. When the third storm system comes thru next week the atmosphere will change leading to snow and ice for the east. We shall see

That was from mid December, I saw a forecast yesterday that indicates more normal to slightly below normal temps and winter weather for January. I sincerely hope they're wrong, I love this!
