71 degrees here and a nice breeze going, just weeded garden plot after helping my brother dump a load of brush on my burn pile. Now back to working on my custom made welding cart....see attachment.

Actually it was a FOOD SERVICE CART that I got at my local university surplus store for $30...I purchased two of them at that price. They were so filthy with grease and baked-on dirt it took me a box of SOS pads, 4 cans of oven cleaner, and several hours of scrubbing and scraping and using a power washer to get them shining.

Great story! Now stick to it when hospital security is grilling you, just hope they don't break out the sodium pentathol.

Clearly a "City Boy" welding cart... First it looks purloined from a commercial establishment (his last welding cart was from 'Piggly Wiggly' and one wheel was all wobbly)... THEN note the absence of knobby tires, clearly this cart cannot leave the pavement...

:D:D:laughing:

/sarc off

That is a NICE welding cart idea Bill... I have a much rustier steel cart similar that I was planning to haul off to the scrap metal joint... Now I need to reconsider...

Excellent example of recycling. Plus, you have a place to take your lunch break after a long morning of welding!
