BEF, glad you had a beautiful area to break in your beautiful new car...oops, I mean the bank's new car.

Did a killer hike yesterday, and it was so beautiful, still didn't want to leave when finished.

Fortunately we took the Subaru. A bird decided to strafe the windshield. Don’t know what it had eaten, but it sounded like a hail storm.

Glad you had a good hike, preacher man, . I thought about a hike, but we ended up just driving. We did cross the AT a few times.

I woke around 4:30 for bathroom break and couldn’t get back to sleep.

I have a lilac blooming

We do too. It is a purple colored one that came from my grandfathers summer place in New Hampshire. I wonder what made them bloom this time if year?
