Gooseneck Rating Stickers Placement

I purchased a new GN trailer, but the stickers were given to me separate. Tonnage rating, weight, tires info, etc. Where does the DOT require this to go, or does it matter.

Also is a fire extinbuisher required on the trailer, or just the truck to meet DOT requirements

My gooseneck came with all "rating stickers" already applied. They are on the drivers side, about 16" above the tongue jack crank. (Say those last 3 words 10 times real fast.....)

As for the fire extinguisher. How about BOTH places? I do believe required location (on commercial vehicles) is the truck itself. I've got one mounted on my truck's cross-over toolbox. Another inside the cab. Yet another in the chain storage box on the trailer. (I get them CHEAP cheap from a supplier we buy from at work) Having a SECOND extinguisher handy saved my old Massey Ferguson 300 combine back in the day. I carried THREE on the combine. (Emptied one and still had some fire going. #2 finished the job. Combines are notorious for fires, especially the older ones with gas engines.)

Fire Exingisher: For Commercial purposes only the truck...if hauling RQ of Hazmat on the trailer then BOTH.
