I figured you would chime in on this Roy...you seem to like the wheel guns. I can't say the firing pin strike force was too light since the rounds that did go bang had nice, deep (normal) primer hits. I think the problem was linked to the cylinder coming loose. This would account for the light strikes being off center slightly. The Biodyguard doesn't use a hand to rotate the cylinder, but rather a "pawl" looking peice that serves double duty as the rotation device and the cylinder to frame locking peice.
