Grapple on! So at least the front is useful to me now!
Notes:
That Diverter bolt/thingy is a ***** to get at with the cab on. Holy ****. 15/16" or there abouts. Ratchet would not clear so I had to use a crescent wrench. Not fun. Did I say "Not Fun", yeah, not fun at all.
The 12v source should be simple . . . it's not. The "spare" fuses in the fuse block were in use by lord knows what. Ended up making a fresh connection with the supplied in-line fuse at the fuse block at a 12v source that came on/off with the key.
8mm hex plugs on the back on the valve you have to tap into.
Drilled 5/16 holes in the big round bar at the front of the DL125 and tapped for 3/8"-16 to hold the valve bracket for the 3rd function hose connections.

I love my EA 60" Wicked Root Rake Grapple. It's on the tractor most of the time. My favorite attachment for clearing the bush honeysuckle in this area. I can selectively pull the honeysuckle bushes out, without damaging the hardwood saplings I'm trying to keep in my woods.

On my M1755 when I set up my grapple, instead of adding the 3rd function and losing bucket curl function, I made some lines to run to my rear remote, ran them through the left loader arm and put in quick disconnects so I can still disconnect the loader easily when I want to, for a cost of about $400.00.
The nice thing about doing it this way (besides lower cost) is I have all 3 functions at the same time and can run the rear remote for the grapple lids with my elbow while my hand is on the loader joystick.
I have a 68 inch Hawes rock/root grapple with 3 inch tine spacing.
It's a good piece of equipment at a great price.
I was going to go with the 6 inch spacing to cut down on attachment weight to increase lift capacity, but main reason I got it (besides lifting logs and brush) was to use is similar to grizzly bars for sifting through my tailing piles to sort rock on our property that was mined in 1908.
Like your set up, love red!

I set this up with the WR Long 3rd function on the joystick. It has full function, including bucket curl, all on the joystick. I'm not sure what you are talking about by "loosing bucket curl"

Nice grapple and setup. I would suggest - before you get to "feisty" with your new grapple. Do something like I've done, to your OEM grill guard. It can save damage to your grill, radiator and battery. View attachment 665962

Sound advise. I have some extra expanded metal I can rig something up with. Thanks!

I like that brush guard. I’ve been looking on this site to see is anyone has made one for the gc1700 series. There are 2 things I want for my little tractor, a brush guard and a filter/hydro fan cover. I am going to hopefully purchase the hydraulic filter skid plate soon but may have to make my own brush guard. Does anyone have issues with that cross tube getting in the way from the FEL.

Mine, as pictured, is in the raised/locked position. Look on the side - a large bolt and a locking pin. The top section of the guard folds forward so I can raise the hood. The "fold/hinge" point is the large bolt. The locking pin keeps the top half in the UP position. It folds forward/down until the "tongue" contacts the lower half. That's more than enough to raise the hood. In the UP/locked position - the FEL cross tubing more than clears all the brush guard. This hinging guard situation is just part of the OEM guard.

Fortunately - in my initial search on types of grapples - I ran into several threads dealing with folks who added expanded metal, etc. This was AFTER they had damage to their radiator, grill or battery. I had my OEM guard modified before the grapple was installed.

I know the modified guard has save me, at least, two times. Fairly substantial sized limbs caught in the expanded metal.

In the UP/locked position - no difficulties with the FEL, hoses or cross tubing making contact with the guard.

I think I just used the wrong verbage there, you don't 'lose' the curl function, you just can't use curl function and the grapple function at the same time is what I meant.

At least that is how it is with the Massey 3rd function kit. you flip the switch and then you can control your grapple Lids but it disconnects your curl and then you flip the switch back and you have your curl and then lose your grapple lid control. If the WR long it is different than I would definitely consider doing that.

The way I set mine up is by using my rear remote I'm running lines up front then I can just use my elbow to control the grapple Lids while still having the lift and lower on the loader arms and curl up and down on the bucket and the clamp and unclamp from the grapple with all simultaneously.
So have full three functions at a time instead of only two.

I have the OEM 3rd function kit on my 1750 and the button to engage the grapple is right on the joystick. I use my index finger to open and close the grapple and if I want to curl at the same time I tap the button on and off. It is a very easy system to use
