Grind When Change Gears - B9200

I have this exact same problem with my JD 5203 and I am going to try this suggestion on Monday. tks for the advice (indirectly).

I hope it works for you. I had never owned a non synchronized transmission before this one, so it was an exercise in frustration until someone here mentioned that was the cause of the grinding. I knew about double-clutching to shift on the fly, but hadn't heard the "wait 5 seconds" solution.
