Well there are certainly some of you and many others with many more problems to deal Roth than I have. I am extremely thankful that i have water, that would turn an extreme inconvenience into an absolute nightmare, and I feel for those that have lost water, homes, or have other severe damage. We are keeping things tolerable with a generator, 5000 btu a/c, and several fans. I agree that we should be thankful to have tractors to help with cleanup. What I've done in a few days would have taken weeks possibly without it. I've cleaned up the majority of the important stuff and most of the small stuff, and this evening I screwed down the metal that came loose on my big building. There will still be work to do once the power comes on, but once it does, atleast for the most part things will be back to normal. Another storm has been moving all around me this evening with some fierce lightning so hopefully those who have regained power don't loose it in another storm.

Got ours back in exactly 4 days. They were estimating 7. We are so thankful and are reminded to appreciate all that electricity does for people. These things have a way of keeping one in check. That experience was from h..l!! Hope everyone else is back on soon.

Friday was a wild ride. I was on the road when it hit, driving thru a bunch of trees. The car was getting pelted with all kinds of debris. I drove till I cleared the trees and stopped in an open clearing. Hope everyone gets their power on soon. Most of my family got theirs on now. This is 2 weeks in a row we have had nasty storms.

Glad to hear everyone is OK..We were coming back from Dearborn Mi. had made plans to stay in Wooster Oh Fri evening and then travel home Sat. Fri evening we drove to Sugarcreek ,Oh and on way backup to Wooster ,we were heading right into the storm. Didn't know at that time how bad it was going to get. At motel very little rain and not much wind but then we turned on the TV and they are reporting all kind of damages around the area. Sat morning they were reporting that millions without power, called MIL no damage around are place but no power and BIL heard may be 5- 12 days before power restored.. Told her we would be home sometime Sat afternoon-evening.. We seen very little damage coming across country instead of traveling interstate..
Got home hooked up generator, then had running water from pump.. Will be glad when city water comes next spring. Thankfully our power came back on Sun around 11 am .. News reporting about 80 % of Preston county was without power after storm went through. Kingwood, Terra Alta and a few other small towns were very hard hit trees everywhere. Like I stated we got power Sun ,,but just got internet back yesterday afternoon . Just getting around to forum to see how everyone is doing...
Pictures I seen from news and in the paper it's a wonder more people wasn't hurt or killed.. Just be supportive to the Power and Phone workers they've been working there butt off in this heat so we can be setting in our AC homes.. when power is restored..
Have a safe and happy 4th of July...
