I scored big Saturday - made three trips with the pickup to a fence contractor's yard sale and bought 12 rolls of 330' field fence (Bekaert high tensile fixed knot) for $1,000 (so we paid about $84 a roll). For another $150 I got one and a half rolls of high tensile barb wire, 100' of 6' chain link fence, a fence stretcher, a partial roll of 6' horse fence, two buckets of fence parts, and several rolls of electric fence wire, and a huge box of electric fence connectors, and more. And the guy gave us a 16 foot gate (retail $340) for free. Feeling good about all that. I got the the two buckets of fence parts for $5.

Those parts will keep in gates for life! Great score.

All the best,

My condolences because now you have to install it. Your back won't feel any better, but your wallet might.

Sounds like you forgot the t-posts!

Nice score. I like to hear about people finding good deals like that...

You done good for sure. I don't think that you could get a set of gate hinges from Master Halco for $5, much less two buckets worth.

Thanks a good deal if you have fence you need to put up.
