Hand throttle for 2016 RTV X1140? I can't find one....Is it a unicorn?

I have a new to me RTV X1140 that I really want a hand throttle installed. My owners manual has a reference to a hand throttle but when I called Messicks they said the only one they list is for an RTV900. I really am not in the mood to try to retro one since I'm so new to the Kubota RTV lineup as far as I know the RTV900 has 900HP methane burning Hemi engine in it.

Do you know if the 900 kit would bolt on the same on a 1140? If the engines are similar enough except for displacement, it should be. Right?

When I call my local Kubota parts guys all they do is look up the kit and say the same thing the Messicks guy says, "idunno" while staring at the computer screen.

I can't give you a definitive answer. All I can do is share the pics of my install. Maybe by looking at them and at your machine you can confirm the engine end of the hookup would be the same. We've already confirmed the knob end is going to be similar to my 900.

In this pic my hand throttle cable is the black cable looping around the back end of the engine. It's held in place by a bracket on the hogshead. The throttle end is in the upper left portion of the pic, near that red headed screw.

Here's a better pic of the cable end hookup. Again it fastens to the throttle lever by that red headed screw. You can see the cable has a bracket holding the case just rearward of the throttle hookup. Then you can see the cable looping around the rear of the engine and disappearing in the upper left portion of the pic.

Thank for posting. It looks way different. I don't have any throttle stuff up front. All of the throttle linkage is towards the back of the motor.
The picture is taken from the operator's side.

Oh, well. I do have an accomplishment today. I got my Mother-in-law's 825i Gator running!!

I guess my concern would be whether your throttle linkage on your injection pump is the same?? Cable routing could be figured out.
