Happy 4th of July, Rosser parade

Well, when I got off work this morning (I worked last night too), went home and hooked up trailer to tractor, woke up wife and the kids (my son and 2 of his friends) and headed downtown to the parade. Had a good turnout, rain held off till after the start of parade. Good time had by all. Our float (Pirates of the Carribean ), won 2nd place.

Those are some great pictures. Your float really made me laugh!!! That was a great idea. hahah

Looks like the entire town showed up for the parade too. That's just the coolest thing ever.

I think I saw one picture where somebody looked like they were yawning. Are you sure they were all awake?

Nice parade! That's the spirit of the 4th. I love small towns and patriotic parades. It looks like you all had a great time.

Yes, the one yawning is my son. They had stayed up all night watching/shooting off fireworks and I bet they thought they would get to sleep late . They had a good time once they got there. They want my son to be Uncle Sam next year (he knows how to walk on stilts, as the one pic showed). There is usually a lot more people show up, but the weather was kind of questionable. They have lawnmower races, and everyone likes to come see that. I missed it this year, cause I had to work and needed to go home and sleep. Thanks for looking.
