Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

I just picked up a HF 1000 gram scale (97920) for about $9. I'm impressed with the quality and it seems pretty accurate based on my weighing several different coins. Probably not accurate enough to weigh powder for reloading, but good enough for most of the small stuff that I'll ever weigh.

So there is a legal use for those?? A few weeks ago I was in HF and the lady in front of me was buying a small scale (not sure if it was the same one). She was acting kind of sketchy and mumbled some story about why she was buying 'another one'... something to do with 'her mom's dog ate the other one' ;) All the clerks were snickering after she left. :D

I'm sure you could use one to measure out drugs, but I use mine for weighing letters, small food amounts, a gold ring that I found and sold during the bubble, etc. It even has a feature where it counts items once you establish how much one item weighs. So you could use it to count out, say, 100 washers or nuts, etc.

I don't own a tractor lol but I found this thread via google and I picked up the 10 gal air compressor which seems to be pretty good I really wanted the 21 gal but they only had the 230v version in the store.

Like someone said on one of the pages I found out they had a store somewhat local to me (73 miles one way) so I decided to check it out. I walked out of the store spending $362 and somehow lost my receipt coming out and buying a extended warranty too :(

I did not buy the earthquake model impact but one that seems to not live up to it's 230 Ft lb rating. Which is item number 95310.

$2.99 nose hair trimmers.

Oh, heck no! Their gas powered weed whackers are required if you have more than 3 nose hairs. Otherwise, they just bog down and make you want to sneeze!

Dargo, I have to agree with you.

I bought the $4.99 electric shaver to leave out at the ranch. Forget it. It is obviously designed for the Asian complexion with light facial hair. It kept bogging down and stalling no matter how much I charged it. Off it went to Goodwill.
