I might have to move the wonderful and often free flashlight over to the "sometime sucks" column. ..........

I find that these flashlights are just not reliable, especially if they are subject to vibration, like riding in a glove box, for instance. The lens is just a press fit and once it comes loose the whole LED board comes out, too. I guess like most HF stuff you need to complete the assembly, maybe with some epoxy on the parts that come loose.

I have had good experience with the 18 gauge 2 in 1 nailer. Just keep it oiled.

All my free flashlights are still working. They are in strategic places around the house and barns, and even in my wife's purse. I'm surprised how long the batteries have lasted. I know they are not Mag Lites, but they are handy when the power goes out.

Yep, I was at HF a few weeks ago when they had the single flashlights on sale for $0.99. I bought four of them and got the 5th one free. At 99 cents with batteries included, they are cheaper than I can buy 3 AAA-cells. My 11 year old grandson has one that he uses (plays with) all the time and the batteries are still good. They are the best free/low cost flashlight out there. I love 'em.

I agree about the flashlights. I have gotten several over the years and just bought 4 more @$1 ea. for Christmas "Stocking Stuffers".
Only recall one that had developed an intermittant on/off switch.

Has anyone purchased the $45 set of three large adjustable wrench sets? I checked again today and locally they are still out of stock.

No but I did buy the $1 6" adjustable wrench. Funny thing is the tag on them said SAE. Got a totally confused look when I asked the clerk where the metric adjustable wrenches were:laughing:

I picked up this 94668 LED light stick with a magnetic base. It seems to be pretty bright and I like the way it stands up by itself. I just hate lights that shine in your face instead of where you need to see. It gets decent reviews and comes with a 110v and 12v charger. $16 after 20% off coupon.
