Excellent question. I go to HF weekly and if nothing else make sure I bring home a freebie. Generally this is accomplished with purchase of a 59 cent paint brush or a roll of electrical tape. Any other good suggestions of cheap but useful items?"............. Now what do I do with all the cheap razor knives I buy for $1 to get the tarp free?
microfiber cloths when free... great for cleaning your glasses. I have bought a bunch of casters and have most of my benches, cabinets, and a large tools on wheels now.Excellent question. Here is an easy mod to your plastic gas cans to increase the flow. Works especially well on the 'No Spill' gas cans that you have to use your thumb to hold the button down on the spout when pouring.

That's what I have in several of mine and they work great. The only thing I would do different would be to use the short stubby stems rather than the standard length. The short stems would be less likely to get caught on something.
Or use the cheap plastic vents I posted.Use metal stems.
Example:
Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem - 1-1/4" Long - Over 100 psi Americana Tire Inflation and Repair AM296
