Has anyone every heard of Allied Tractors ?

Can anyone provide some input on these tractors ?

Here is the URL and the 28hp tractor is supposed to be made in the US. http://www.alliedtractor.net/ATChome.htm

Supposed to be in Ohio.

Anybody heard of them, had one, or know of any dealers ?

Seems the only way to get information from them is by email including newletters or dealer names.

I never have heard of them. Don't know how long they have been in business or how long they will be in business. Looks like they are looking for dealers and I could not find a "locate a dealer link" to see even if they have a dealer in my area. I would be somewhat skeptical.

Kind of interesting site though. The lowest end tractor is a 22hp gas with rops, pto, etc. Then goes all the way up.

And, as it reads, supposedly made in the USA.

Found it real interesting that they don't even give an email address but you file out the form and is just sent in so you really don't even know where it is going to.

Maybe someone from Ohio know about them or knows where the address is :

Allied Tractor is also Allied Cable. Attached is a view of the factory. Don't know what portion is cable and what portion is the tractor facility.

Really curious about this now as I have never heard of them.

Found this blurb on a site that had links to gray market tractors:

Most of the stuff on their website www.tractor1.com looks like your typical Chinese stuff.

They claim to be <font color="red">one of the last American-owned tractor companies supported by local dealers</font> but their stuff is probably just crate tractors assembled at their plant. I wouldn't be surprised if the owners were doing this tractor thing as a sideline business.

They're about 10 miles from me. I drove around the fenced in area a few weeks ago. They have a yard full of import "Grey" tractors. They have week day hours only and you need to make an appointment . I tried calling them for information on a front end loader and the voice mail message says to fill out the form from the internet and fax to them for info. I never got to talk to a live person. I have e-mailed them for info on a tractor they listed on E-Bay and never got a response . They may be a reputable dealer but I would be very skeptical. Seems like you have to jump through hoops to get any information. Just my "opinion".

Well it is nice to know that they actually exist. Kinda fell over them by checking out some stuff on Ebay. Since I know little about tractors just figured maybe someone else would have some knowledge about them. Could see from Ebay that one part of them also deals in Grey Market tractors. When I got to their site and saw tractors made in the USA, then I was really, really curious about them. Odd that they give engine choices on the tractors.
Have sent them an email aobut pricing and will let everyone know if I hear anything back.
If anyone knows anymore about Allied tractors or has one, it would be nice to just hear about it.

The first Allied tractors I saw were very crude. All of the switches and electrical items looked to be "off the shelf" Radio Shack items.
In the frequent past, when they've been at the Power Show Ohio, their looks have gotten better. Appeared to be a lot of Mitsubishi engines and drive lines. They do seem to be able to import alot, new and used.
I talked to the owners daughter last time they were here. She said that her father used to make them by himself in the shop years ago.

Well it is nice to know that they actually exist and someone has seen some. Was having some doubts.

Still would be nice to know if anyone has one or knows someone who has one and what they are like in use.

Guess if you make them yourself, they are USA made.

Have sent an email to them re dealers\pricing, etc so waiting to see if I hear back.
