How about this set. I like to listen to music when driving the tractor. Has a soft strap over the top to keep them from slipping down when bouncing around. I wear a wide brim floppy hat with an adjustable string under the chin.

I use Howard Leight -31dBa ear muffs for shooting practise. GManBart is spot-on, shooters know they have to protect over the ear to prevent muzzle blast overpressure damage.
But muffs get really hot on us po' tractor owners that only have 'glorified garden tractors' (SCUT's) without a summer cab & air conditioning. The easiest thing I found was a custom silicone plugs on a band from Grainger. But boy they make your ear canals sore after an hour or so.

This is the hat I wear (made by Solumbra, by Sun Precautions). 100+ SPF. The earmuffs (ProEars) fit over it just fine. For shooting I use the molded ear canal plugs in addition.
