I would like to start off by saying Thank You.
I purchased 11 acres last year (sight unseen) and when I came home on leave, realized I would have a need for a mechanical advantage. When I was growing up, my folks had a small garden tractor and that would classify the entirety of my knowledge with tractors. I am not one for a rash decision, so I have been reading relentlessly for the better part of a year, most of it from this forum. I have been through the New vs used vs Very used. Cost and Brand analysis, as well as the mountain that seems to be the tire discussions.
Last week I ordered a Kioti CK3510SE to be ready sometime near the end of my orders here. I went with the R1 tires even though I have a lot of woods work, mostly because the yard is a little hilly and our soil being clay, stays wet under leaves and debris almost year round. You'll slip down a slight grade walking if leaves are loose. I have always had a grand garden, or at least I think it is, and I'm sure I'll go oversize here too. So Tilling, grading, woods clearing. No grass or lawn work that I can for see.
I am super excited about the purchase and have my big list of attachments I want to sift through.
