my name is norm going on 65, live in otterburn park QC, (retired)
i've bin in to small tractors for a very long time especially the older models,
i'm also a musician (drummer) started playing at the age of 14,
woodworking is also part of me, and electricals, mechanics as well, and i love to navigate with the family in our 32 ft motor yacht,
i try to stay busy as much as possible

Hi Norm, I am only a few miles up the road from you in between St-Hyacinthe and Drummondville.

I have 2 older Columbia garden tractors as well, both 12-38 models , not sure what year , my guess is '70s or '80s vintage. No yacht though and welcome aboard TBN.

Hi DieselnHooters, nice to know someone close with the same interest,
i was wondering if you are still using your older machines or is there one that you use for parts!,
because i'm in sort of a bind right now, let me explain,
i own an old 990 that's been totally restored, and recently i had a problem with my front wheel hub, the nuts came loose and chewed up the rim and the studs,
(noticed it to late), i found an other rim for it, but not the hub nor the studs,
it would be appreciated if you would have a spare one, its a 3 bolt type with 3/8" studs or if you know where i would be able to get the studs for it 3/8"24 x 1", i've looked around in my area no go,

Norm, one is indeed kept for parts but is still in good working order save for the busted mower deck so cant spare a hub for now.

You could try Laliberte Moto Sport in Acton Vale, they carry the Columbia line and have a back store filled with older parts. Give them a ring 450-549-5454
