2005 kubota bx22 with loader and backhoe
Hello from Dallas tx!!.... thank you for accepting me in the group
Was happy working with my bx22 when all of the sudden the loader stopped working...I mean, the actual loader lift, the curling still working...bucket down, so I can't even drive it without taking loader off
I took off the metal cover for the control valve, and immediately noticed the cylinder for the up/down for bucket was all the way down!! Like sucked in the valve body.. observed no pressure with tractor running in the OUT line of the valve... I unplugged quick connect, ran tractor and pressed the inside ball of the connector, no pressure at all (maybe is normal?)... another observation, while tractor running and line disconnected, when moved the joystick, I observed fairly good stream of fluid (from valve, OUT hose)....
Any help, any tips will be appreciated ... thank you in advance

if it's a older tractor with 3-4 thousand hours and the hydraulic fluid hasn't been changed regularly ~500 hours the valve maybe stuck or perhaps broken valve spring ? Of course I am guessing and don't know enough about bx22. If it is a thicken fluid issue of it were mine I would go to Wal-Mart pick up a quart of super tech power steering fluid and pour that in my hst because it has concentrated levels of friction modifier and cleaning abilities, I use about 1/2 cup in my Mahindra emax25 to quiet the hst and to add more strength to an already good fluid. While fluid manufacturer try to balance their products most don't get it perfect like many fluids could use more anti foam additives and this helps. If you try this and it works I would suggest changing fluid and clean hat screen and filter then use the best fluid possible ,if it's a hst I would suggest using Sinopec universal tractor brake hydraulic fluid it's gl4 10w30 and has been one of the best fluids I've tried in my hst Mahindra universal tractor hydraulic fluid is also very good. If you try the power steering fluid and it works them you will at least know your On the right track and the system needs cleaned, and yes I would put 1/4-1/2 cup to new fluid of you have to change. They are other ways to clean a hydraulic system but the power steering is the cheapest and safest. Sorry wish I knew more about your tractor.

Take the can off at the end of the spool and see if anything is messed up in it. There are 3 or 4 little balls in there and a spring, so be on your toes to catch them.
