I have a john deere 3520 and I want to install a guage inline with one of the ports on the loader and the quick connect ports on the tractor. I already have the guage. I would need an inline T with a male quick connect on both sides. Is there anywhere that sells the setup? What else would I need. I already have a 3000 psi gauge connected to an 18 inch section of hose with a male quick connect on the end. I would like to plug this right into an inline t as mentioned

The best place for a hyd gage is in a tee in the IN port of the FEL valve.

It will reflect anything the hyd is doing.

Set it up where you can see it to monitor and trouble shoot the hyd system.

Any place that sells hydraulic fittings will have tees

Just dont go get one from the plumbing section of your nearest box store.

You need a hyd tee that will connect to your In port, and your removed hose will connect to the other end, and an adapter for the gage to fit in the tee.

If your valve is too low for good visibility, add some hose to the gage port.

If you do not need a semi-permanent hyd gage connection, then do this.

Install a tee in the same spot as above, with a male 1/4 in QD.

Here are some pictures of test sets made up by TBN members.

They should cost about $30.

Just plug in the gage to test.

yeah I have one 3 miles down the road. The prices are rediculoius in there compared to the internets. I paid 70 bucks for a guage, hose and a quick disconnect.

Here is a liquid hyd gage for about $12 plus shipping.

3000 PSI 2.5" LF LM GAUGE

you see that's about the same one that I paid 40 for at the local hydraulic shop. I got ripped off. I have a grainger nearby too so ill stop in there tomorrow. ill bet there stuff is cheaper.

Dont be too sure. Grainger is ALWAYS high to to private individual. Now companies and whatnot get 40-60% off them prices.:mur:

If the QD on your gage matches the other QD's n your tractor, you can just plug into any valve work ports QD and check for pressure and how much.

For permanent viewing, install it in a tee in the IN port of the loader valve.

So any spool you operate, the pressure will show on the gage.
