Honda Foreman cold starting help

/ Honda Foreman cold starting help #11
I run Stabil in my gas most of the year. Doesn't hurt for the little added protection. I have a 450 foreman es and in the winter when I shut it down I always pull the choke out when I shut it down in case I get some moisture on the cable and wouldn't be able to choke it. Mine starts right up and its left outside and usually buried with snow. I have a downpressure plow on it and use it quite a bit to plow snow in the winter. The best thing you can do with any engine is run it regularly.

I'm also running the carb dry by shutting the gas valve off if it's going to be stored for a while. Live and learn.

Thanks once again.

Josh

You may not want to run the carb dry. The Stabil will keep the carb clean and the seals wet. I seem to have more problems with a carb that has sat dry rather than wet. Just my 2 cents.

beersngars is right, keep the fuel mixed heavy with sta-bil, you'll do better in the long run !!!!! Keep it wet in there ~~~~~~~~
