How do you store your grease gun

Right - does no good to be the fastest draw in the west - if you are only shooting blanks.

Yes, If I am confronted by some zerk I never saw before, I don't want to be fumbling around for a grease tube.

I store mine loaded. It stays in a tool shed at my cabin. It gets super hot in there in the summer.

Years ago I bought a regular old fifth of Jack Daniels and the liquor store guy put it in a tin Jack Daniels box for some reason. Some sort of promo I guess. I nailed the tin to the wall of my tool shed and my Lincoln gun sits right down in it with hose end tucked in as well. No muss no fuss. What was destined to be trash has found its utility.

All the greasers go in a five gallon pail. Handles out, Saw dust in the bottom.

Keeps everything clean and dry.

From time to time, the saturated saw shavings go into the wood stove.

I do the same, but rags, will give the sawdust a try the next time I swap out the rags.

As an experiment, a friend kept a tube of TRC grease on the dash of his vehicle all one summer without one trace of leaked oil and no trace of oil separation when he took the cap off either. Seen it with my own eyes.

Yeah! But look where you live - did it get to 70 F that summer?

I have read all this, and I am flabbergasted! The ONLY safe place for a grease gun when not being used, is clearly a grease gun safe!
