The new muffler had a new gasket. No real change.
The dealer then went on to change the exhaust manifold gasket, no reported change but it is in GA so I am going by what they said.
There were looking into it, my take is there was some sort of crack or issue with the exhaust manifold. He told me their SOP is to welt any crack, etc. It is hard to get a solid read from a distance.
I could not find any indication of smoke, etc., nothing in my looking at the manifold. All the bolts were there, etc. I suppose I could take it off and do a pressure/leakdown check, or have it tanked and fluxed.
