how mush does my tractor weigh?

I need to buy a new trailer to haul my '79 1700 w/ 770 FEL and was curious as to about how much it weighs?

Welcome! I hope you enjoy the site, I'm sure someone will be along that can supply some info.

But of course a lot depends on the configuration, tires, etc. And, are the tires loaded? Do you have weights on it anywhere? Stuff like that.

Do you have an owner's manual? Sometimes the empty weights are in there.

I know I'd like to know more about my weight, CG, etc, but it seems that the only way I'll be able to do that is either by taking it to a scale, or lifting it end-by-end with a pancake jack that shows the pressure in the cylinder. You multiply the pressure by the cylinder ram's area to get the force.

Tires are not loaded per previous owner. no weights, unless I am using FEL. Tire size rear 11.2-24 ag type front 6.00-16 ag type. Manuals: I&T FO44 and 770 operators manual, neither give wieghts. Thanks for the link to the general tractor info.

Here is a link to some of the specs for your TC18. http://www.twinfallstractor-imp.com/pics/boomer_specs.pdf It looks like it is around 1450 lbs. A little more if you have the R4 tires.

What were you hauling the tractor on and what did it weigh on that?

I used a 12 ft utility trailer w/ 5,000 lb. axle. Rig or tractor were never weighed.
