Just got my new 4410, a tremendous machine to say the least.

Trying to get some guidance on how frequently I need to grease:

The tractor (e-hydro)
The front-end loader (430)
The backhoe (48)

Depending on conditions every 10 hours if you are in a wet climate and 50 if your normal use. I do the loader before I use it after I take it out of storage and I do the tractor about 15-20 hours just to keep it well lubed. I do grease my mowers a lot too and they have held up well over the years. JD recommends what I had stated earlier for the tractor. I would grease when you see the grease is breaking down.

Since it takes me around 3 or 4 weeks to get 10 hours, I pretty much stick with the 10 hour intervals.
However, even if I worked the machine more frequently as I will for a project this spring/summer, I'll stick with 10, but no more then twenty hours.

How do you see if the grease is breaking down???

From my experience it gets real thin and slimey and kind of wet. Like on the gauge wheels of the mower deck after they spin around so much it will wear out and you can physically see it is wearing away to nothing but a liquidly film. Maybe someone else can describe it a little better.

I grease my tractor once in the Spring.

I grease my mower before each use. I put 20-25 pumps into the pumpkin on the PTO each time as well. That's what is recommended by Rhino.

I grease my Bobcat about every 20 hours of use.

My father put it well when I asked him this question
and he said "Hey, grease is cheap insurance, do it often !"
So I do my FEL, RMM and tractor every 10 hours or so

I grease my backhoe and fel after a days use.

I like to force the dirt and water out of the joints with new grease. When I go to use it again all thats in the joints is grease, not water or dirt.

Good point, after I wash everything it gets a good greasing and you can see the water shoot out of the steering joints and what not.

And I greased mine after each use. I honestly don't know whether it makes any difference, but I figure if running it made it need grease, then I'd put it in right then and it would be ready to go next time. And especially if I washed it, then I hoped greasing it right then would let the grease displace any water that might have gotten in there.
