Tractor
Kubota B3300SU
Maybe I am using the wrong search terms, but i have only been able to find one thread regarding this, which was for some other tractor. I am a new tractor owner, but know my way around a car. I however have no idea what I need to build a gauge or how to increase the relief vavle maybe another 100psi so the FEL can lift just a tiny bit more.

I would be happy to pay another $25 for just a bit of their time to walk me through this, just let me know your paypal.

Enter "increase kubota b3200 hydraulic pressure" in google and you will see more links to this site and others on the topic. Or leave out the model reference and just go with Kubota in the initial search.
The b3200 and b3300 instructions technique etc. will be the same and you will get more hits referencing the more popular b3200.

Also, you can buy an adjustment kit all set up from bxpanded that will have all the components for increasing your hydraulic pressure for about $70., and if you email them they will also give further specific instructions to your model if the printed instructions need a little clarification.

There are some real experts on this site on hydraulics (and about any other topic) that will always chime in with help on specific questions.
This topic is pretty well documented on the site, just keep searching and good luck in your efforts!

Do you know your tractor set relief pressure?

Here are some pictures of hyd gage test sets. Cost about $30.

On FEL valves, there is a relief valve that can be adjusted by using shims or turning a screw.

The shims do not cost much, and the screw kind, you can just turn it in to increase the pressure.

No offense, but it sounds like a phishing attempt for email addresses. Since PayPal IS uses email addresses. Why would you come on a free forum and offer to pay for something that is given away many times a day for free?

I apologize if I am wrong. Find yourself a hydraulic shop in your area. They will likely stock gauges and quick connects that you need to hook to your loader circuit. You can take one of the fittings off your tractor and take with you to match one up. Parker 60 series 3/8" is what my Kubota l3400 matched to.

Yeah, I see how that looks sketchy being my first post but I just wanted detailed information pertaining to my actual tractor so I didn't mess something up but I bought the kit from bexpanded so I think I am all set now. Thanks for the help guys

Why not take a few pictures of the process and post them. Might help out a fellow forum member. Welcome to the site.

Maybe a dumb question on my part, but wouldn't adjusting the pressure relief to a setting higher than factory specs damage the tractor? All I know about hydraulics is to make sure I put the right colored connectors together! I would be concerned about blowing out a cylinder or seal by upping the pressure.

"Hydraulics by color" sounds like "paint by number".

Searching will turn up numerous threads on how some mfg, Kubota being one, often sells their tractors with the hydraulics set to the lower end of their range. And reading the threads it's not that difficult to tweak the pressure.

You need to know the numbers you are dealing with, all the safety factors and the fittings.
Apparently it's not that difficult, but you just have the possibility of damaging the equipment, and if the failure is something like a hose bursting and spraying high pressure hydraulic oil into you death may be the result, but not much worse than that.

Until I learn more I'm keeping my hydraulics work like my electric work, low pressure & low voltage. I replace hoses and fluids. I've got to get a test kit :)
