Sorry, I don't have a picture, but I'll try to describe it for you.
First, make sure the adjustable top link of the 3 point hitch is removed, set it aside. When installing a PHD, you do not use the top link at all.
Second, I typically lay my PHD on the ground so that the 2 pins are basically below the ball ends on the 2 lower links. The PHD is basically a bent pipe, make sure the "bend" is elevated, there will be a hole at the end of the bent pipe.
Now set the lower link pins into the ball ends on the lower link arms and pin them into place.
Standing behind the tractor and looking at it, tip the PHD up using the lower pins as a pivot point. Line up the hole in the end of the bent part of the PHD and pin it into place with a top link pin. Connect up the PTO shaft. Install an auger bit. You are ready to go.
One note of caution, the PHD is one implement that you do NOT want to run at 540 PTO speed! Run your tractor at just above idle when you start using the PHD. Keep WELL CLEAR of the spinning auger. Keep KIDS and PETS well away from the area. A running child can travel 50' in under 4 seconds, I have a 50' rule with my child, if she is within 50' of the PHD then I won't use it. Every year I read about one or two people who are injured or died using a PHD, I never want anyone to read that about you, and hope nobody ever reads it about me! These are very useful, great time savers, but probably one of the more dangerous implements you can use.
