Any suggestions of the best place to get tiller tines? I run a 54 inch tiller, probably sees 20 hrs of use a year. After 16 yrs of use.. the tines have fallen fatigued and breaking off
I would be concerned about them breaking at the weld. Tiller tines like most ground engaging tillage wear parts are formed, the edge put on and then heat treated. They also have a fair amount of leverage out on the end, especially in hard dirt. There is nothing worse than picking tiller tines out of a garden. When I replaced them on my Howard, it was around $10 a tine if I remember correctly.
Howard tines are some of the BEST in the business... Lot's of folks try to retro-fit them in their brand of tiller...When I replaced them on my Howard, it was around $10 a tine if I remember correctly.

odd..just attempted a call. and keep getting an Eva Campell... Johnson City is just across the state line from me.. one would think they would have their number right on the web pageHave you inquired at Tillermaxx to see if they have any tines for your Howse? I put some of their tines on my King Kutter ll tiller last yr. I've tilled over 25 acres since with minimal wear on tines.
