I bought one about 6 or 7 years ago. Works good. About all that you would ever need if you are just a homeowner. But wait, you say - the 35ton Huskee HAS to be better than the puny 22 ton. Not so. I haven't encountered many logs that I couldn't split with my 22 ton. Sure, it will bog a little here and there and strain to get through some nasty knots, but it eventually splits it. I help a farmer buddy split 6 - 8 cords every year with his Huskee 35 ton and I don't see much difference - the cycle time is within one second of my 22 ton. The huge 12 or 13 HP engine is downright nasty to pull start, though.
Save your money and buy the 22 ton. You won't regret getting something bigger. The only caution is that the Briggs engine can be tempermental sometimes. Occasionally mine will start "surging" at full throttle. It can also be hard to re-start when it's hot. But heck, if the engine ever goes I'll just replace it with a Honda and then not have to worry about it for the rest of my lifetime.
