I have a Kubota B3200 with a LA504 loader. I forgot to let the pressure release from the loader when I disconnected it the other day. I could not reconnect the quick couplers to the machine when I tried to hook up the loader again. So I took apart two of the loader couplers to bleed off the pressure. Since I have done that the fittings that I took apart have a slow leak. I have applied Permatex Pipe Sealant but only waited about 5 hours before I applied hydraulic pressure to the fittings. Again they leaked. Do you think that I am over tightening the fittings? I did tighten them as much as I could. Today I removed the fittings, wiped them down, reapplied the permatex and only snugged the couplers to the hoses. Will this solve my leaking hoses? I am going to wait about 2 days or so for the pipe sealant to dry before I apply pressure to the fittings.
Thanks

check the pressure rating of th Permatex sealant, you need a sealant that is good to at least 2000psi. If you are using a household (plumbing) sealant that is a problem.
