Hello all,
I have a new bx25d with < 10 hrs. Yesterday, I ran it around the yard for about 20 minutes to check the adjustment of the mmm prior to the first mow of the year.
After finishing, I pulled the transmission dipstick and noticed air bubbles in the hydraulic fluid. These bubbles were small enough that the fluid appeared cloudy at first glance. I restarted the tractor, and found light foaming while running. After shutting the tractor off, the fluid eventually clarified as the bubbles worked their way out.
Have any other BX owners checked the hydraulic fluid while running? Is some air common in these systems? Tractor runs fine with no apparent loss of power or outstanding pump noise. It also lives in the garage, so I don't suspect water intrusion.
