I just finished a big digging job the other day and my bucket tilt hydraulic hose popped and sprayed oil everywhere.
It is only a small hose about 18" long but I had trouble when I went to buy one.
I took my parts book with me but the supplier couldn't get the part number to come up so he rang some other place in Australia but they had the same problem.
Long and short of it is, IF they could find the part to order it, It would have to come from Taiwan and would take at least 5 weeks.
So, I took the hose into ENZED and they said it had odd sized fittings that only the Chinese used so they had to make a new hose up.
That was OK BUT it cost me over $100 for the darn thing. I had nearly told him to make 2 up as the other one is 10 years old now as well. Thank goodness I didn't tell him to make 2 at that price.
I know what to look forward to now when the other one pops.

So how long would a hydraulic hose normally last? I can see hairline cracks in the surface of the hoses but the tractor is always garaged so it doesn't sit out in the sun.
