Hi All.
I know this has (most Likely) been beat to death, but...I have an Allamd 25K 25HP Kohler Command, Eaton 7142 Hydro Pump, Ross M18 series Torque Motor.
Manual calls for "Fluid" SAE 20W / ISO 68 / GL4 rating...Factory supplied "HydoClear 9836" witch apparently is now as rare as Unicorn sperm.
What are my options?
I have a Tractor Supply, JD dealer and Kabota dealer within 20 mile radius.
Tractor is down for the count..no movement under power.
Hydro shop tells me that Eaton pumps and the Torq Motor checks out fine.
The FEL Hoe and power steering all work fine (they are driven off the auxiliary pump).
I drained all the fluid so I could pull the pumps and motor for the shop to inspect.
Now it's time to fill her up and continue my diagnoses.
Thanks
Ed

ISO 68 is pretty common plain hydraulic fluid.

Hydraulic fluid viscosities are measured different than engine oils. ISO 32, ISO 46 , and ISO 68 are all pretty common.
Sometimes you will see the letters AW before the number. IE: AW32, AW46, AW68. Same stuff.

TSC, rural king, Napa, etc. All have ISO68 hydraulic oil. Nothing rare about it
