Was there any sign of water in the oil? When mine went it did the same thing. Took it to the dealer and he replaced the pump. 🍻

TS travelers universal hydraulic fluid usually runs a bit heavier in viscosity that the NH OEM fluid. Works well in warm/hot weather.
Hydraulic oil has no standard 3rd party checks like the API for engine oil. In hydraulic oil the manufacturer specs the weight and additives. So anyone can claim its equivalent but theres no one to do the checks and balances.

Yes just drained it and looked like pieces of cast metal.

Unfortunately, yes. Water in hydraulic fluid kills the pump. Metal shavings in the fluid is a telltale sign of damage. Someone smarter than me has to help you with diagnosis. But if you ask me your pump is shot. Good luck.🍻
