I've got a MF 471, recently purchased, with a 1055 loader. The tractor has 1155 hours. When I bought it it had 1110 hours, and all the filters were replaced by the dealer.
The problem I am having is with the warning light for the hydraulic system. The red warning light will come on blinking, which means that the hydraulic filter needs to be changed. The thing is that after about 10 minutes, the light goes off, stays off for a while, then comes back on. It will go on and off like this the entire time I'm using the tractor, and it doesn't seem to make any difference what I'm doing, like using the FEL or not.
Given the hassle of changing this filter, and seeing how few hours since the filter was replaced, I'd like to avoid another change. I've made sure that the fluid level is good.
Has anyone dealt with this sort of thing? Any advice or suggestions? All help welcomed.
