I use them more on the trucks I drive than the flat mirrors. So I would say yes. If you've never used them it may take a bit to adjust to using them

I've been looking to do something like this for my Kubota L3600. I might have to check these out...

Thanks,
Shawn

Thanks. I am planning to use the mirrors for backing into the garage and parking the tractor. Will the convex mirror provide an accurate read on what's
behind me and distances?
Some what.

LOL @ cartod

I love the far side!

How much convex (depth of dish) the mirror has effects the distortion at longer distances. Some convex allows greater range of view but too much distorts the proportions too much to be useful in the real world.

I too am a big fan of convex or as we call em blind spot m mirrors.

I am thankful I still have the range of motion to not need them on the tractor... yet.

Added this to my Kubota L3600 today! As you can see, I need to find a smaller (1 1/4") split ring clamp. 1.5" with the "spacers" works for now.

You can buy electric conduit clamps in 1 1/4" at Lowe's that should fit. Is this a convex mirror...looks like a very good area of view.

This has to be the easiest mod to my tractor. Neck problems don't allow me to turn to look behind me so I picked these up at Advanced Auto for $10 each. I just bolted them into the holes on the loader supports. Best 20 bucks spent.

I should have mentioned....sorry about that. I took tom1023's advice (see quote above) and bought the same convex mirror at Advanced Auto. $9.99.

I found the right 1 1/4" clamp at Home Depot today. I should have it mounted in the next few days.

Thanks
Shawn

Just finished installing a pair of Jeep mirrors onto my tractor. Started the tractor and the non-stop vibration in the mirrrors
makes them very difficult to use. Easier to turn backwards to see where I am.

Anyone else find vibration a problem??
