Glad you liked it Ed. I found it inspiring. I thought that the woman's composure was really what inspired me. It seemed like the reporter was shocked at her demeanor. It's was great to see that the dog survived. Brought a tear to my eye, I have a soft spot for dogs.

Ah ha....you found it. That's me in Casper Wyoming, 1972. I won the regional that year. I drew the toughest Shepard in the state...twice. "Flosie the bossy Aussie" was her name. It was like ridding a bolt of lightening, 8 seconds seemed like an eternity.
From that moment on my friends called me "Stub Farlow"....brings back memories....thanks for posting that.
