Good news, it is done and doing well in Parker Az last I heard.

Originally the pickup was set up with diodes for using the pickup lights from the Peterbilt through the RV. Sometimes the diodes went out and it was an issue. So the last thing I did was install three way toggle switches in a less than obvious place in the bed. When the toggle switches are in the up position the lights are powered by the pickup, down position, Peterbilt. It's also a nice anti-theft device in that if you take off with the truck and the switches are down you will have no tail lights.

We were able to keep the backup camera along with the backup warning sensors. We wanted to incorporate the original hitch/bumper if we could.

If you look close to the first photo you will notice a little tilt to the Razer's front. Client got to Parker and took it into the dealer to have the front end straightened up. It was totaled because the roll over also tweaked the rear of the buggy too. It was a slow backwards flip and fall to the passenger side on an Arkansas ORV park trail as I understand. I hate to think what a real crash would do.

BTW I only allowed myself to drive it one time. If my ship came in I would have two of those, one as a backup because I just look old. Friend watched me load it onto the truck and and then asked, "how old do you have to get to that crap out of your system?"

We'll have to wait on that one.

Had a couple Razers race on my MX track. One guy overshot a 75' table-top jump and went end over end frontwards. Busted the exhaust but also bent the rear suspension/A-arms so the tire was rubbing on the frame. Also hit just right on a buried rock to dent the rollbar. Managed to drive it back to the pits with a lot of smoke and burn't rubber smell. He figured a couple thousand in repairs anyway.

Client was quoted $10,000.00 and the insurance was totaling it. He probably already has the new one.

Looking good Harvey! When I looked at the links with the stars and the Texas in them my initial thought was that you cut the shapes out of the middle of the links, then I realized that I could see through the links so that was not possible - good optical illusion.

I entered the truck bed into the Miller project contest today. We got lucky a couple of years ago and maybe they have forgotten us.

A guy over on welding web, he too is in Texas. He is building a pipe liner bed. I stole some of your pictures and posted them there to show him what a real slick bed looks like. Hope you don't mind too much.
