thx! Been too hot to mess with as of late. I've been carving the hill directly behind my house. Gave the tractor a fresh coat of wax and changed the fuilds in my air conditioned shop^^

My tractor stance wasn't wide enough to go straight on. ....but fit perfectly sideways. It worked out well for changing all the fluids. I put the grader on it to balance out. I could have taken the loader off....but this was easier.

Never had a trail that steep but read about putting in some thigh size logs at an angle across the road every 10 feet or so. Half buried you can still drive over them but diverts the water.

All water from behind the barns will now go to the right. I am going to build a ramp on the left to get on top of that ridge. Once there I may have a shot to approach my other path and come down towards it. Up hill digging on my other path has been very slow and complicated when hurdles like tree roots or large rocks get in my way.

I'm in shale....so I'm not too worried about washing out this cut or having issues controlling the water.
