My middle daughter (the one developing their land and planning on building this summer) discovered that backhoe is nice digging road with bucket until things are sloped, then it is not easy to level out.. she is better now, does a bit with hoe, then works with bucket.. Snow is almost melted off, they should be able to start digging house site in next couple of weeks..

I'm only 15-20' above my barns cutting across, about where the line is...my straight up trail runs for about 100' past the red line...you can see part of it....it's just too steep

Neat. So, uh, why are you cutting this trail across here again? I thought you already have a trail going up to the right of your barns. Does this cross-over come in at a better spot for continuing upwards?

The old trail to left (pic below) starts to go beyond 45° (I just slip and can't continue carving forward) and stops way short of the top. The trail to the right of barns needs a ramp made before I continue as I'm kind of stuck. This will take a lot of dirt to make. I'm hoping to zig zag across the face with new cut and see where it gets me.
