Here you go. Finger lakes Craigs list. Century Forklift with side shift for $575.00. It attaches to an existing tractor. I can only guess you can attach that to what ever from what the picture on Craigs list shows. Cant buy a loader bucket for that price.

How about a skid steer? I found a few 753 bobcats for sale. They can lift 2600 pounds. Can they go in the grass?

I'm just looking to use it to move trailers around easily over grass and uneven areas without worrying about getting stuck, plus using it in the shop to lift and move around heavy items that are too heavy for me to lift. Say like I want to move the table saw to a different area of the shop. Or unload a heavy tool from a truck.

As has been mentioned for moving trailers, you only need to lift the tongue weight. However, 1500# was mentioned, I have a bumper pull that has a tongue weight of 1650# so be sure to check the specs and be sure what you use will lift that. If you are moving flat bed trailers or ones with low sides, you'll be ok. If you have enclosed trailers or high sides, visibility will be a problem and you'll need a spotter whenever you move a trailer. There are some tractors that have a 9' or 10' bar with mirrors mounted at the ends so the driver can see.

To move stuff in the shop, maneuverability is the issue. Consider using a pallet jack.
