Can anybody identify this clip I found resting on my right rear axle of my 400 hrs. BX24? I find it hard to believe it has been there since 2007 purchase but I can not recall ever seeing it anywhere on the BX24 before.
Thanks for your look

It is mine. It is from the ROPS. I am missing mine from the left side. How it got to your place I'll never know. You should have two (one on each side) round knobs that can be tightened down to take the rattle out of a folding ROPS. They are right at the hinged portion.

Take Care,

Thanks Doug,
If it was any closer to my head it would of blind me. Can not believe I could not place it. I do not know how it got all the way from your place but I am going to keep it, alright.:D

Aren't you gonna send it back to him?

I considered it Don but part# K2591-39560 is under $4.00 and shipping was like $10. Then I realized it must be faulty if it let the tension knob back out in the first place, so I better check it out for another 5 years and make sure it does not happen again before giving it back.:laughing::laughing:

Edit - Superseded to K2591-39562.

Yea I guess that is the safe path to take. Wouldn't want to send him a bad part. Besides he shouldn't have left it at your place anyway. Maybe you can charge him a storage fee?

No, I can not hold the man responsible for his parts actions. He treats them well, keeps them clean and treats them with respect and that is the thanks he gets when he is not watching...
I got three just like it:laughing:

I do admit I felt stupid when I read it as often as I had seen them against the black ROPS and yet could not identify it out of place without having taken it apart. Bought a new handscrew for that side and never gave it a second thought other than it kept tightening up on me when I raised ROPS and could not get fully raised for pin :confused2:.
