Indian John Deere gray market

Ive briefly looked for discussions around gray market Indian tractors but don't seen much / any on importing new indian made John Deere that are low priced (see Latest John Deere 5045 D 4WD Price, Specification and Mileage 2023 for 9000 USD 4WD 5045 ) JD, NH-CASEIH etc ag tractors? At one time JD USA were importing and selling 50 HP Indian made but said due to lack of interest and power steering they discontinued. BTW this model comes with PS. Has anyone attempted such purchase?

I'm also curious to know if there is any demand for Indian-made John Deere tractors in the US. I looked here Vivaro Casino ® Vivarobet Sport ⇒ Casino and Sports Betting Platform Review . I'm guessing that the price difference is the main attraction, but I'm wondering if there are any other factors that potential buyers should consider.

I speculate if a new Indian tractor does not conform to Tier 4 emissions standards it will not be allowed into the USA.

Many developing countries do not use ultra low sulphur diesel fuel, the single type of diesel fuel available in the USA. I do not know the implications of this for engine longevity.

You're right. The air quality index in Delhi is four times higher than the permissible level. If you think about it, it's a disaster.

Mahindra And Mahindra, John Deere and most all others manufacturers offer (Indian) Tier 4 within India with common rail injector that apparently at least for Mahindra also meets USA 's Tier 4 requirements using only their common rail fuel injection as per their website mCRD Technology | Mahindra Agriculture North America ??? And yes yes Delhi air quality once again is setting records for not 3-4 times but 20 + times WHO health standards. Though vehicles including tractors obviously contributing to this it is by far the burning of the approximately 25 million tons of rice straw from the summer harvest in the surrounding provinces.

I would be concerned about potential barriers to import - there's a recent/current thread on TBN about importing a chicom excavator that ended up having to be sent without the engine due to import restrictions
Also you should be able to get engine model and spec info specific to the Indian model. I'm thinking you could likely get parts ordered from India if it's an engine not sold here, although I would think it would make the most sense for Deere to just use an older non computerized pre-engineered version that's cheaper to produce

I thought John Deere imports all of the mid sized E models from India already.
With Deere you get a dealer, a warranty, and the tractor will not be stuck at customs, that is worth some extra money.
Saying this as an owner of an Import chinese tractor. I would bet without full certification of tier four compliance that can be verified... the import will get stopped and not allowed in.

I watched a New Unit go through an Auction here in Canada for 1/5th it's value. Scrolling through the pictures, a Hole had been drilled through the Block.

Not sure if it came from India, but it didn't meet EPA Emissions and was Confiscated @ Customs and sold for Parts.

I do have 2 Chinese Imported units, a Mini Hoe and Stand On Skid, both have EPA Stickers and B&S Replacement Engines.
